3 Sons Brewing Co

Thank you Google! What a great find. I could have driven by this place a hundred times without noticing it but I’m glad we found it. I wish I had taken a photo of it—I was too hungry—but the food was great as were all of the beers. They had a good selection of sours as well. The staff are friendly and attentive and I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

Excellent beers and a deliciously creative menu. Got a wheat beer, the dashi duck wings, and the funghi pizza. Beer was very smooth and balanced. Pizza was excellent, a lot of unique flavors! Also enjoyed the dashi duck wings, they were an exciting take on such a standard bar food. There’s ample lot parking up front, only indoor seating at this time. You order at the registers at the bar and tell them the number of the table you’re sitting at. Food is brought to the table. It’s a very lively, approachable, and funky spot. Colorful, the right amount of loud, and welcoming. Really hope to go back soon!

It’s not easy to be a place that serves good beer, or a place that serves good food, and it’s especially not easy to be a place that does both. The most difficult thing, though, is to be a place that does both and creates an amazing environment that people gravitate toward. 3 Sons accomplishes all of these things and more through their amazing facility and welcoming staff! My husband and I visited after disembarking from a cruise. We only intended to get a beer, but the food was so enticing that we had to order some. We also noticed a family - father, mother, three grown children, and their friends - pouring in to watch the Dolphins game, as it appeared was their ritual for every game. In addition to this family, we struck up a conversation with another regular patron, who was thrilled that the owners had organized a bus for patrons to an upcoming Dolphins game. This place obviously cares about the people who love it in return. We felt right at home here, and loved every minute we spent with fellow patrons. Could totally see this being our neighborhood brewery if we didn’t live in VA. Five million stars for 3 Sons, and its beer, food, and atmosphere! You can’t beat this place if you’re in the area!

DISCLAIMER: I am traveling from SC to get on a cruise ship at Fort Lauderdale. I am staying at a hotel nearby, so I am not local to this area. FOOD: The food is definitely what saved this review. Not only was the food fast, but DELICIOUS! We ordered so much food for the 7 of us. The pizza was great, and the variety of food offered was great. I love a place that allows you to taste test a drink before getting it, and the beer pricing was relatively in-line with expectations. They only had a single type of cider, which was disappointing, but I can tolerate a sour. SERVICE: My only complaint, was the lack of host stand or any instructions to tell you that you'll have to fight for a table. We called ahead and was informed that they do not reserve tables, but arrived to find that there were tables marked as "reserved" and unavailable for us. We had a larger group of 7, so we cramed onto a table fit for 4 and waited for something larger to open up. If you have social anxiety and don't like asking strangers if they're leaving soon, don't eat here. SHOUT OUT!! There was a guy named Austin in some sort of Hawaiian shirt working that night (8/25, around 8PM). He was great! He didn't necessarily assist us, but he was the only person with a smile on his face. He was incredibly friendly and upbeat, bringing joy to a rather stressful environment. Great job to him!!
